Thank you for taking time to consider counseling. As you seek to improve your future, be more engaged in the present, or make sense of your past, you need someone who is fully invested in you and your journey. Every person deserves respect and support regardless of race, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ability, education, or financial situation. Often, those who have the most to give reserve the least for themselves.
I engage using person-centered therapy. This means that my focus in counseling is you, and I have a particular emphasis on goal oriented approaches to life, better understanding of mindset and where it comes from, and being deliberate through the ups and downs of life. I have enjoyed working with people who feel life's demands are often more than they can take.
I am mid-journey myself. I received my Master's in Counseling from Wake Forest. My background includes 20 years of work across different industries and geographies. After spans as an astronaut instructor at NASA and as a technology executive, my transition into mental health is fulfilling and rewarding. I look forward to hearing about your journey and supporting you as you move forward.
