Margaret Mevers, Masters of Education, Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental health SERVICE provider (temp)
Hi there- I'm Margaret, and I enjoy helping people take back their lives. I understand that each human being is unique and deserves a therapeutic process tailored to meet their needs. I view counseling as a team effort between a counselor and a client that requires open communication. I understand that it can be unsettling to sit in a room with a stranger and talk about all that has happened in your life. We’ll take this at you’re own pace.
I have experience working in private practices, half way houses, and domestic violence and sexual assault programs. I am trained to work with clients with all types of issues, but my focus is with OCD, and trauma and dissociative disorders. .
When I’m not in my therapy chair I fish, play board games, bake, garden, go to concerts, try new restaurants, and, of course watch too much Netflix. Got any show recommendations? Let me know!
