Life is full of transitions—moments of growth, pain, and everything in between. Whether you're navigating complex emotions, relationship challenges, or carrying the weight of unspoken experiences, I strive to offer a compassionate space where healing can unfold at your pace. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals as they explore their inner worlds, uncover patterns, and move toward greater clarity, self-understanding, and connection.
I am currently a Ph.D. student in Counseling Psychology at Tennessee State University. I received my Ed.S. in Professional Counseling from Middle Tennessee State University, with a focus on clinical mental health. Much of my clinical experience so far has centered around trauma-informed care,
neuropsychological assessment, and working with individuals from diverse and historically marginalized backgrounds.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory and shaped by a person-centered, culturally responsive lens. I believe that insight, healing, and growth emerge through a trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel seen, heard, and safe to bring all parts of themselves into the room. I approach each client with the understanding that trauma—whether chronic, complex, or intergenerational—can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. As such, my work is rooted in trauma-centered care that honors the resilience of survivors while tending to the emotional and relational wounds they carry. I also draw from attachment theory and relational-cultural frameworks, paying close attention to how early experiences, cultural identity, and systems of oppression can influence our internal narratives and relationships today.
As the daughter of immigrants and someone who values both rootedness and discovery, I hold deep respect for stories of resilience, survival, and identity formation. In therapy, I aim to support clients in reclaiming their stories, processing emotional pain, and reconnecting with their sense of agency and purpose.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with my family, getting lost in a good novel, going on hikes, and enjoying cozy nights in with my cat, Evie.
It’s a privilege to walk alongside people during moments of both struggle and strength. If we work together, my hope is to create a collaborative space where you feel empowered to heal, reflect, and move forward with intention.
