Katlyn Wyatt | she / her / hers
It takes a lot of bravery to lean into painful places, but I want you to know you are not alone. I strive to cultivate an environment defined by curiosity, safety, warmth, and a splash of playfulness. I am a firm believer in the inherent capacity for healing within each of us; sometimes, we just need a little support to get there.
My specializations encompass various forms of trauma, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, and navigating significant life transitions. Additionally, I am passionate about supporting fellow therapists and those in professional training. In my approach, I aim to learn and fully understand your story, who you are, and how I can best support you on your personal journey of healing and transformation.
Whether you're navigating past or current trauma, anxiety, feelings of being stuck, or relationship wounds that impact your current relationships, I see you, and I am here to offer you a space to reflect on your patterns, provide insights and education about how your brain and nervous system function, equip you with practical tools for healing and help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself—both past and present.
Apart from my work, I find joy in spending time with friends and family, exploring new recipes (which may or may not end up burnt!), hiking different trails, or snuggling up with my family for a movie marathon.
**For those who might feel hesitant about virtual therapy—perhaps due to comfort with technology or concerns about the effectiveness of online sessions—rest assured that research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. I am happy to walk through all of the steps with you and make it as simple as possible. You can join from your phone, iPad, or computer.
Virtual EMDR is also possible, and I have found that clients have had incredible success. We use an online platform where you can utilize visual, audio, or tactile tools to reprocess, just as you would in person. All of this will be discussed and collaborated on together!
