Sheri Frey | she / her / hers

Sometimes life feels difficult and overwhelming. We can feel anxious, depressed, stuck, overwhelmed, or just do not know what to do next. Sometimes we just need someone to walk beside us to help us find our way out of the darkness and back into the light.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a passion for helping people through that journey from just struggling and surviving to growing and thriving. Having both personal and professional experiences overcoming some of life's most difficult experiences, I understand how hard it can be sometimes to even reach out and tell your story. So you should know that you do not have to do it alone.

I truly believe that our minds and bodies have the innate capacity to heal from challenging and traumatic experiences. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to each person's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel free to explore your emotions, memories, and triggers.

To create a tailored approach for my clients, I utilize a variety of trauma-informed therapies and methodologies, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CF-CBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Supportive Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. This approach ensures that therapy is as unique as the person undergoing it.

My specialized trainings in AnxietyDepression, Crisis Intervention, Domestic Abuse, Human Trafficking, Intimate Partner Violence, PTSD, DissociationSexual AssaultTraumaReligious Abuse, and Life Transitions, help me walk alongside clients to find hope and healing even in the most challenging circumstances.

I would be honored to walk beside you in your healing journey, and share my unique insights and professional expertise to help and empower you to find comfort, hope, and joy in life again.
