EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is an evidence based form of treatment to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. It enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are results from disturbing life experiences. EMDR shows the mind that it can heal as much as the body recovers. modality that allows clients to desensitize and then reprocess traumatic information until it is no longer psychologically or physically disruptive. 


EMDR can be used for: 

  •  anxiety and panic attacks

  • Depression

  • Anger

  • Phobias

  • Sleep problems 

  • Grief and loss

  • Addictions

  • Pain, including phantom limb pain

  • Performance anxiety

  • Perfectionism

  • Feelings of worthlessness/low self-esteem
